Deleting your جلستنا account

1. In the app

1. Open My account.
2. Choose Edit account.
3. Scroll to Delete account.
4. Enter your password and confirm.

The password is asked for again even though you are signed in — a borrowed phone should not be able to end someone's account in two taps. Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no grace period and no way to recover the account afterwards.

2. If you cannot sign in

Lost your password, or already uninstalled the app? Email [email protected] from the address registered on the account, quoting your handle. We answer within 30 days as Saudi PDPL requires, and in practice within days. We will not act on a deletion request from an address that does not match the account — otherwise knowing someone's handle would be enough to delete them.

3. What is deleted

Match history is anonymised rather than erased because a match is not yours alone: three other players are in it, and deleting it corrupts their results and their standing. So it is stripped of your identity instead of left under your name.

4. What is kept, and why

• Public chat messages are deleted automatically after seven days, whether or not you delete your account. The sweep runs hourly and at every boot, so your messages expire on their own schedule.
• Reports filed against you or by you survive deletion. Deleting the evidence when acting on it is how a moderation record loses its own history, and how a banned account returns as a new one. A report holds the reason and the note, not the conversation.
• Financial or statutory records, where any exist, for only as long as the law requires.

5. Currency and items

Gems, coins and cosmetics are lost on deletion and are not refunded, and do not transfer to a new account. If you intend to come back, do not delete the account.
